Ora Garden is a landscape regeneration project that will be curated by Fondazione Sylva, a non-profit organisation set up in Apulia in 2021 that deals with environmental regeneration through reforestation, will be the Festival’s sustainability and environment partner.
In an abandoned area, within the territory of the municipality of Monopoli, trees will be planted that are necessary not only for the revaluation of the territory, but also to restore biodiversity and the natural balance, put under attack by climate change, in Italy as in the rest of the world.
This is the concrete way in which Ora! Fest and the Fondazione Sylva contribute to sustainability and the environment. The project will be realised thanks to the resources derived from a fundraiser in favor of the Fondazione Sylva, which will be launched during the festival and will involve schools and anyone among citizens who cares about the environment and wants to participate.
The talk will be attended by
Angelo Annese, Mayor of Monopoli;
Lawrence Bender, Actor;
Silvia Bizio, Artistic Director of ORA! FEST;
Andrea Crosta, Film Director;
Giovanni De Blasio, President of ORA! FEST;
Luigi de Vecchi, President of the Fondazione Sylva;
Edoardo Winspeare, Film Director.
