In a family of sheep thieves, a 15-year-old boy has to contend with his father’s bullying in order to help his younger brother support the little lamb orphaned after the last raid.

Director

Tom Furniss is a New Zealand writer and director who has co-written programmes such as Taskmaster, New Zeland Today, Gloden Boy and Chris Parker: Back to School Special. He was previously a writer for comedy shows, 7days and Jono and Ben, as well as writing an episode of Power Rangers: Beast Morphers. As a stand-up comedian, he was twice nominated for the Billy T Award. He was the writer and director of the film The Child Jumpers, which won the 48h Film Project contest. In 2022, he started production on his first feature film, The Mountain, produced by Taika Waititi’s Piki Film.
