Director
Alireza Kazemipour (1973, Iran), is an award-winning Iranian-Canadian screenwriter, director and producer. In 2010, he received his Master’s degree in Film Directing from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tehran University and directed his first short film Slowness. In 2020, he made his second film, The Blue Bed, which was selected in more than 80 film festivals worldwide and received 28 awards. He recently directed the documentary film Margin vs. Centre (2021) and the short films Split Ends (2022) and The Gold Teeth (2022).
